Orphans Kitchen Garden Project
ACSET Uganda in partnership with Seedmoney is implementing a Kitchen Garden project to promote vegetable gardening within the households of the orphans and rural poor. The project aims at improving Food and nutrition security of the rural poor households in Adekokwok subcounty in Lira District. The project also leads to economic resilience of orphans’ households through sale of vegatables. In 2017, the project will be scaled to schools promoting skills among children through school gardening and school enterprise challenge.
